Warmth of Love

By on February 3, 2026 in Uncategorized

It is now February, and in various parts of the country, it is extremely cold. I live in the Northeast, and we are experiencing cold temperatures. With the long nights and the freezing temperatures, we need a special way to keep warm. I have to admit that I love this month because February allows me to hibernate and work on my soul’s growth.

As part of my practice, I ask my Angels and the Spirit of loved ones to come close and warm my soul. I want to share this beautiful experience with you. Through this meditation, you will feel the warmth of spirit.

Choose a quiet spot where you

will not be disturbed.

Find a comfortable position.

Close your eyes.

Bring your awareness to your body and

notice the feeling of your feet on the floor

or on your cushion.

Notice any internal sensations that may be arising.

As you become aware of these sensations,

allow them to move through your mind.

Bring your awareness to your breath.

Take a few deep breaths: breathing in,

breathing out.

And as you exhale, allow yourself to

release any tension.

Now let your breathing return to normal.

Breathe at a natural rhythm.

Your mind will probably wander, and

when it does, simply call it back,

bringing your attention to your breath.

Let your awareness rest in your breath,

Take your hand and gently place it on your heart.

Take notice of the beating of your heart.

Feel the rhythm of your beating heart

through your hand.

Now picture a white light coming down

from the heavens.

Through the roof, the ceiling

and down the top of your head,

moving through your eyes, nose, mouth

and along your neck.

Allow this light to release any tension that

may be held in your neck.

Continue by picturing the light moving

down your arms,

your hands and through each finger.

Now picture the light moving through your fingers

and into your heart,

filling your heart with light and love.

Picture it wrapping around you clockwise,

wrapping you in a cocoon of white light.

Now see the light moving again into your head

and through your body into your heart.

You have now connected the mind and heart.

You may feel a deep hole inside your heart,

an absence of a loved one.

Again picture the light coming down

from the heavens,

replenishing your heart with light,

filling the emptiness.

Take notice of the light.

You are now joined with the spirit of

your loved one.

Your loved one’s spirit is part of this light.

This spirit is sending the light

deep into your heart.

Your heart is overflowing with light and love.

The absence, the hole inside your heart,

is now filled with the light.

Feel the love and the presence of this spirit

bringing healing energy into your heart.

As your heart and mind connect and

become one, the spirit of your loved one

can now communicate with you.

You may feel a gentle pressure, warmth, a touch

or even an overwhelming feeling of love.

Hold this feeling with tenderness and trust.

Sit for a few moments and become one

with the spirit of your loved one.

When you are ready, feel yourself coming back.

Bring focus back to your breath.

Recognize that you are nurturing yourself

with each in-breath

and releasing what emotions are not needed

with each out-breath.

Breathing in.

Breathing out.

The white light is slowly unwrapping you,

moving slowly counterclockwise around you.

Now release your focus on the breath.

Simply come back to your body.

Sit for a moment.

As this period of practice comes to an end,

form an intention of gratitude.

Let Spirit know that you appreciate

their time and their positive energy

that is present in your life.

Before opening your eyes,

take a few moments to get a sense of the

body as a whole.

Wiggle your toes and slowly open your eyes.

I hope you were able to feel the love pour into your heart. It may take a few times, but please don’t get discouraged; it is definitely worth the effort.
